Marketing Co-ordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and confident individual to join our Marketing team based in Leeds. The Marketing Co-ordinator will be a crucial addition, with a creative and proactive approach you will be the primary contact between our sales departments and marketing.

In this role, you will work closely with the department managers and an external digital marketing agency to execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, improve engagement and increase sales leads.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2-3 years’ experience and who is passionate about marketing and achieving success in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing activities across various channels, including social media, email, and web.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders/managers and the external digital marketing agency to source information and help implement marketing strategies and execute marketing tasks.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including sales, product, and customer service to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.

  • Create and curate engaging content for our social media platforms, website, and other digital channels.

  • Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage with the audience to build relationships.

  • Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Support the planning and execution of events, promotions, and product launches.

  • Maintain and update the company’s website content and product listing pages.

  • Maintain on-page SEO.

  • Keep informed and learn about the entertainment technology industry.

  • Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.

  • Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and apply new knowledge to enhance digital marketing efforts.

 

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

  • 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role within a B2B business.

  • Familiarity with a wide range of digital marketing tools and platforms, such as GA4, social media management tools, and email marketing software.

  • Familiarity and experience with an ecommerce and/or website content management system.

Skills Required:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organisational and project/time management abilities.

  • Creative thinking and logical problem-solving skills.

  • A good understanding of SEO and SEM principles with experience of implementing SEO.

  • A good understanding of various social media platforms and best practices.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Confidence and ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage your own time effectively.

  • Ability to deliver high quality within deadlines.

  • Confidence to ask questions in order to gain a full understanding when you may be lacking knowledge or experience.

  • Experience working with an external marketing agency.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).

  • Good photography skills

  • Understanding of the entertainment technology industry and its market dynamics.

  • Experience with video editing software and creating multimedia content.
